PrimeWash is a mobile laundry pickup and delivery service based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are the responsible party for the
personal information we collect from our customers and commercial clients.

3. Information we collect
We collect only the personal information necessary to provide our laundry service. This includes:
• Full name and contact number
• Delivery and collection address
• Email address (where provided)
• Order history and service preferences
• Billing and payment information (EFT reference details — we do not store card details)
• Business name and contact person (for commercial accounts)
• WhatsApp communication records related to your service
4. Why we collect your information
We collect and process your personal information for the following lawful purposes:
• To provide laundry collection, processing and delivery services
• To generate and send receipts, quotes and invoices
• To communicate with you about your orders via WhatsApp or email
• To manage your subscription (PrimeCare) or commercial account
• To comply with our legal and financial obligations
• To improve our service based on order history and feedback
5. Your consent
By engaging PrimeWash services — whether by placing an order, signing up for PrimeCare, or entering into a commercial service
agreement — you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described in this policy.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to continue providing
services to you.
6. How we store and protect your information
Your personal information is stored securely on Google Firebase (Firestore), a cloud-based database with industry-standard
security protocols. Access to your data is restricted to authorised PrimeWash personnel only.
• Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit
• Access is controlled and limited to service delivery purposes only
• We do not store payment card details
• WhatsApp communications are subject to Meta's own data handling policies
7. Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share limited information with the following third parties solely to
deliver our service:
• Partner laundry facilities: Order details (not contact information) may be shared with our processing partners to fulfil your
order
• Google Firebase: Our database and hosting provider
• WhatsApp Business (Meta): Our primary customer communication channel
• Legal authorities: Where required by law
8. Your rights under POPIA
As a data subject under POPIA, you have the following rights:
• Right of access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Right to correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Right to deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations
• Right to object: You may object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances
• Right to lodge a complaint: You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa
9. How long we keep your information
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. Order
records are retained for a minimum of 5 years for financial and tax purposes. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove
your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
